Eastwood Bookmakers is a family owned business with over 50 shops throughout
Northern Ireland. No other bookmaker has that numerical presence
or the hard earned reputation of fearless layers who are totally customer
focused. Eastwood bookmakers are dedicated to providing the Northern Ireland
public with an in-shop service superior to any other available in the United
Kingdom.
Famous for over 40 years for being Ireland’s leading bookmaker the
business was founded by B.J. Eastwood – All Ireland Gaelic Football
Minor winner of the 40’s – renowned on-track layer of the 60s
and 70s – derby winning greyhound owner of 1982 and world famous
boxing manager who re-instated Northern Ireland as a premier boxing
location in the 80’s and 90’s guiding no fewer than 5 boxers
to world titles. His many other business commitments have meant that B.J.
no longer runs the business “hands on”.
With such a cosmopolitan sporting background it is no surprise that his family have taken up the mantle and continued to develop the business in an ever-changing environment. Always to the fore and the first local bookmaker’s to be asked for an opinion on the outcome of events ranging from “Big Brother” to "Elvis’ reappearance" you can be sure that within the bounds of good taste you will be quoted a price on almost anything.
